Query 1:-

In BAAN 4, after creating Estimate lines for one cost type( like material) for a single element, when i create estimate line for another cost type (like labor) for same element, it prompts me to "CLEAR FIELDS NOT BELONGING TO STATUS" if i press "YES" it removes all the previous estimate lines, if i press " NO" it doesnt clear the estimate lines but it changes the units of the cost objects. For Eg.

Initially i maintain material lines with unit pieces. now i changed my coding system to labour and created labour lines with unit days.

when i transfer this to budget lines, it will change the unit of material lines to days.


Query 2:-

In Baan 4 we can only link standard activities to estimate but not project activities. i want to know how i can Link or transfer estimate lines to project activities .


can anybody help me on this.

You can maintain different units for different cost types but if it is labour then it wouldnot be pcs. Check which cost object you are selecting and what unit is defined in that session.
