Hi friends,
I am working to activate the Baan Project module, I have few questions concerning the general parametrs.
1. What are advantages, significance and use of following and how they help in project planning and control:
Oraganization Breakdown Structure
Default Top Element for Budget
2. What is difference between Element budget and Activity budget for following:
Budget type for Project Budget
Budget type for Project Control
3. How budgetting method differ for "Labor Norms" and "Production Rate".
4. Significance of Wage Rate for Actual Budget (level 1, 2, 3) and what consideration should be taken to define these parameters.
5. Significance of Wage Rate for Hours Accounting (level 1, 2, 3, 4) and what consideration should be taken to define these parameters.
6. How to use and what consideration shoule be take to configure the "Progress Control Parameters" ( Control Cost and Cost object) for following:
Material Progress
Labor Progress
Equipment Progress
Subcontracting Progress
Sundry Cost Progress
I appriciate all responses/suggestions and discussions in light of experience. Further more, projects that supposed to be managed are from Consturction business, may this helps to make expert comments.
