2.manually sent to project team member.
3. project team member insert in element budget options for equipment, material, sundry, labour details .

we tried to use the estimate module options i.e formating structure, inserting item level lines .. etc but it is very tidious.

For Information: ERP LN has a completely re-written Estimation Module with import from MS Excel.

Using Excel for Estimating (tpbop) is already a feature in BAAN V.

However, the issue at hand is in BAAN IV and not in BAAN V or SSA LN 6.1.

Given the existing technologies to expose your BAAN IV data it should not be a problem in BAAN IV to export data from tpbop to Excel, work on the data in Excel and then import the modified data back in the tpbop module in BAAN IV.

My only advise is to carefully select a solution for this as you may have other requirements in Project and Distribution to expose your BAAN IV data.
Once you know all the requirements you can select the best solution available.

Edwin
