We are planning to buy OW Adapter Runtime.

We need to develop some custom BOIs.

Do we need the OW studio or is there any way we can develop
the BOI/DLL in Baan and invoke them using Java/XML client
adapter

If you want to develop your own BOIs Studio is needed. It would be possible to create the Baan BOI DLL without the BOI builder, but the builder saves you a lot of time. However you still need the BOI compiler that generates teh java classes from your QCD / DCD.

As far as I know you cannot just buy BOW Studio. I think Studio is only available to certified partners.
