I am working with bck and BCBE.When I try to connect to BaaN I am getting Exception in BaaN Connection, message is DS Bridge is not running.
Can anybody tell me solution for this.

check the svc.conf file in ${BSE}/lib folder.
the parameters should be
[DSBridge]
state=active
linkage=static
initfunction=DS_CreateService

If that is correct, then check the correct shell in your bcbe.conf
that should work

Thanks for your reply, but it couldn't solve problem, I am still getting same error.

I would like to give more background , we are using NT operating system, we have not installed bck but taken dump from other machine and loaded it. Is it necessary to install bck ? Is it required to add something in services ?

without BCK installed you wont be able to connect to the server by the client.
there is a new shell named ntbshellxma comes, which listens for this client request.
BCK is a must.
Taking dump wont solve the purpose.

ntbshellxma will be part of latest porting set and already I have it.
Secondly when we install bck , what we actually do is import dumps of cc package, then apply some patches. I do not remeber any specific steps for installation.

Yes I agree that ntbshellxma comes along with porting set which is a part of installation of Bck.
also some tools objects come.
But without installation of BCK you cant write any clients work.
