Can someone help me in the understanding as to what is iBaaN Portal and how is it set-up with BaaN ERP suite.
Also, is Portal needed for BaaN E-sales

Baan Portal is used as a portal. (An internet portal). You could manage all users whith group and permissions. Combined with BDN (Baan Data Navigator) all users could navigate in Baan (V and IV). You could integrate E-sales on the portal, but portal is not necessary.

Just for information, the portal is not an thinErp Client (look on Webtop for that)
