Hi All,

Pls let me know if OW (without any Baan Application related adaptors) can integrate different non-baan applications. Do I need to write seperate adaptors or should i have to buy it from Baan. How is it viable w.r.t cost and other factors.

Regards,
Dhruva.

Hi,

Theoretically it is possible to integrate any application using the OpenWorld Broker provided that the applications you want to use can comunicate through ADO, COM, XML or another protocol. Broker has all kind of predefined objects for building integrations.

Success!

Hi,
Yes it is possible for using OW to do integrations with non Baan applications.

OW Broker is just a central HUB in HUB and Spoke model. You should use OW adapter to enable ur applications for integrations.

OW is now used for performing integrations with SAP also...

If anyone needs more information you can send me an email.
