I have not used BaanIVc4 yet - do you need to have the standard source in order toi generate a BOI using the developers studio ? also is the same true when using the ttstpcreatdll session ?

No, Source is not required to generate a BOI and also to use the ttstpcreatdll session.

ttstpcreatdll session will create an AFS (Application Function Server) for the BOI DLL which takes care of the data insertion functionalities.

If u want only to fetch data from BaaN then there is no need to create AFS DLL through ttstpcreatdll session.
