Hello everybody,

has anyone ever tried to synchronize the baan internal calendar (eg. in Service Scheduler) with the Microsoft Exchange calendaring system?

In order to avoid date conflicts, we need to synch calendar entrys in both directions. I am desperately looking for any references to this. Shouldn't this be a classical task for Open World?

Many thanks for your ideas, tips, references!

I have no experience with Exchange Calender entries, but I have experience with
1) exporting Baan Sales & Marketing contacts data (tdsmi120) and automatically create MS Exchange contacts & ditribution lists based upon tdsmi121 features.
2) creating Exchange public folder scripts that update BaaN data through the old Baan Connect Kit. Two way synchroinzation should also be possible in theory but we never completed this functionality.

MS Exchange calender items are just other message entry types then contacts & email so it should in theory be possible to pick them up and update a BaaN calender. Updates can be triggerd through MS Exchange agents (old 5.5 server) or COM+ applications (2000 and 2003).
Let me know if you ant more information.

regards,
Robert
