Dear All,

I am curious about, how we can integrate BaaN system with Internet. I mean the user will enter receipt data on internet that data should be save to BaaN database without net server and later user should get receipt no. and it should be real time with all the field level validations.
As I know -
1. Openworld - is a expensive tool, we cannot afford this for a small requirement.
2. EDI - can only import data and cannot show generated receipt no.
3. AFS - can not support internet.
4. BCK - already out dated.
5. BOI - difficult to use.

Please help me to choose appropriate way. and How to use it? If possible any doc.

Regards,

Tim

Very recently released webtop for Baan IVc4 may suffice ur purpose . U need to have SP14 ( ? check with Baan support).

Just to expand, the tools you listed are all for developing your own interface to Baan or connecting an existing interface like EDI software. If you want access straight into Baan sessions you can use the Baan Webtop as Hitesh said.
And a question on the Web Interfaces - what happened to the 'BI' interface (Baan Internet)? Is that now Webtop or are they 2 separate pieces?

If I'm not mistaken, BI is only meant for the Verdi backend and Webtop is for the other (BaanIV,5.0c,5.2, 6.0 etc) backends.
