Baan IV c4 contains Tools-Function to create/parse XML-Files. But all must be done by myself.
It is more easy to use OpenWorld Studio to read/write XML-Files?
Kind regards

Openworld studio helps to build BOI's in the graphical user environment. Openworld Gateway is one which actually provides access to BOI's using XML.
iBaan Openworld v 2.2 includes iBaan Openworld Broker, iBaan OpenWorld Adapter, iBaan OpenWorld Studio, iBaan OpenWorld Gateway, iBaan OpenWorld Domains.

Hey Jeyaseelan,
thank you for your quick answer.
I try to design an interface between Baan IV c4 and another application. They should use XML-files for communication.
In Baan XML-files must be created and read. The communication should be done with the OpenWorld Gateway.
I don't have an installation of OpenWorld yet.
Can I do direct access to XML-files, who comes from the other application, so I can read them and start something in Baan?
Where must I store a created XML-file, that should be send to the other application?
Is there are a place in OpenWord, where document types of XML-files must be defined?
Can you help me please
Kind regards
Andy

OpenWorld Broker has the facility to send and receive data in XML Format. In Broker Action wizard we can push broker value (data) to a message sink. The message sink then translates as an XML Document and sends the message over the preconfigured message transport.

What's the pricing on this package from Baan?
