Has anybody an idea how to access the user data maintained in iPlanet and used for e-Procurement from Crystal Report?

Just a guess.
I dont know much about crystal reports.
First, you can develop your own components to read required user data from LDAP. iPlanet LDAP server gives certain APIs using which you can access the contents of LDAP server.
You can develop client components using Java, VB etc.,

as you say, you have e-collaboration, inside that, you can see certain dll files which are actually COM components using which you can access the user details.

If you are able to use, either of these languages inside crystal report, then you will be able to get user details.

Hi,
Crystal Reports 8.0 doesn't support iplanet web and application servers.

Becaz,

1. iPlanet changed its architecture model after Crystal Reports 8.0 is released

2. Crystal Reports supports CGI ( Common Gateway Interface) based web servers like Apache, Lotus Domino etc., iPlanet doesn't support CGI.

Hope this helps u.

Thanks.
