Hi,

I have a problem with the GTM. It takes a unusually long amount of time to open any table, I tried with a couple is simple as well as complex tables. but the time remains more or less the same. Is there any parameter which can change the access times ? Do I need to modify anythign at the ora level ?

Can you give some more information like:

Is GTM always slow? If not, when is GTM slow?
Was GTM always slow? If not what changed in the meantime?
Are all sessions slow (for startup)?
What is your database? What version?
What are your parameters in the db_resource?

How long ago did you reorganize your database?

Hi,

1. All session are ok. Only access thru GTM is very slow for any table. Do I need to change any setting for the GTM or in the ora parameters ?

Hi,

Once i had the same problem for a specific table.
Baan told me that it is probably an index problem. I did a reorganize on that table and the problem had been solved.
