We are using IVc4 on SQL Server 2000 and W2K. Our database is about 60GB and we want to archive our data.
I don“t see a concept like INFORMIX dbspaces, i.e. have our working data in one db, archive date in another db etc.
We probably have a workaround with tablegroups, but does someone know another way to have the archive data not mixed with the working data. The restore time will quite increase more and more. By splitting the archive from working we want have faster restore time. Has someone a way to solve this?
