I am installing BaaN IV C4 on Oracle 8.0.5 on NT.
After the completion of installation I got an error Database not on Error 510. How to make the database on? What could be the reason?

Check the service status of the DB through the control panel

check lib\tabledef6.1
replace "\" in path with "/"
and try again (problem of portingset)

Thanks Rochus. It worked after changing to "/" in the tabledef6.1 file.

you should not use
oracle 8.0.5. on NT (with Baan) in production environment,
because there are some bugs in this combination,
please use oracle 8.0.6.3
