Yes, if you use an actual portingset, this will work. But it is not officially supported until now! There shall be a new portingset within the next 2 months, which supports Oracle 9i.

Is the info somewhere on an official Baan website ?

We are currently planning on upgrading our HP-UX 10.20 to HPUX11 and upgrading our oracle 7.3.4 to the latest possible version of Oracle.
If this would be Oracle 9i we can skip version 8.
(all this will be on a new server to ease the migration.)

If it would only be 2 months its definite worthwhile to wait.
