I want to know if ERP LN 6.1 is supported on Windows 2008 OS with MS SQL 2008 database system.

Starting with porting set 8.5a.02 (currently the most recent), SQL 2008 is supported. Specific Windows version is not called out, which indicates to me that either 2003 or 2008 is supported.

You are right, while SQL2008 is supported on portingset 8.5a.02; Windows server 2008 is not. There are no definite plans yet to support Windows server 2008 but it is in the works and hopefully by the end of the year (not 100% sure) they should have a portingset that supports Windows server 2008.

Please use porting set 8.6a, both Windows Server 2008 and SQL2008 are supported.

^Actually, I have a customer running W2K8 and SQL2008 with 8.5.a03.... I think that was the first PS that supported Windows 2008.
