Can anybody tell me what the .sum file is under /baan/bse?

Never seen bevore. Who is owner of this file and what is its content?
It seems to be a Operatingsystem file, because the leading dot ...

Hello Daniel,

The file is owned by bsp. It's a data file so when you view it all you see is a mish mash of charcters. The file is 41k in size.

Does strings /baan/bse/.sum return anything usable?

strings returns the following - "_BI_2"

Nice question I wonder also what it is for. I looked at our system and it gave the following results:

bsp:/baan/bse> strings .sum
_BI_2ÌsÄ
bsp:/baan/bse> cat .sum
ãu.{\ÌsÄM=

Looks if it has to do with B_ISAM but that can't be the answer. Somebody else has a clue?
