Does anybody know why Workgroup edition is NOT supported by BaanIV

I can't see any technical issues from this comparison. Latest porting set .pdf only says Enterprise Edition...and yes it's asked from Support, but I am not happy with their answer.

Is anybody using Workgroup version?

Also OnBar is supported with it...

I didn't get clarifying answer from support...we are not running workgroup and not even tested.

Thanks for the reply support told us the following in reference to the porting set notes;

"As is not explicitly mentioned, we should assume that it is not supported.

You can review on previous Porting Set notes though, I think that only Enterprise Edition is supported"

Yes...exactly the same...pretty poor.
btw...we have discovered bad bug in 11 -version of Informix.
calculates wrongly. Can't remember exact version number now...
