I am new to the Baan world. We are currently using Baan B40Ca, porting set 6.1c.04.02 running on Oracle 7.3.4.5 (HPUX 11.11). We want to migrate to Oracle 10g R2 (10.2.0.4). I have seen in a Baanboard thread that porting set 6.1c.07.10 is compatible with Oracle 10g R2. Is this porting set applicable to my current Baan version/porting set ?

What would the effort to apply this porting set to my current Baan apps ?

Also, is Baan B40Ca = Baan IVc* ? Is a document/site that shows Baan/database compatibility matrix ?

Is there a Baan version certified with Oracle 11g ?

Infor support 11.1 since 6.1c.07.21. In the technical notes provides with each portingset a matrix is delivered which os/db versions are supported.
This portingset is not supported on HP-UX 11.11 only 11i v1,v2,v3 so yo probably have to upgrade your os too.

Not sure about your B40Ca version, that's probably your package combination.

Do you know where I could find the official porting set certification matrix for db release, OS platform, etc. I would like to identify the latest porting set/db release available for my current Baan apps on our current OS. I have difficulties locating this information.

I spoke to my Unix this morning. He told me that HPUX 11.11 is 11i v1. So the porting set 6.1c.07.21 should be supported.

Where can I fond porting set details for compatibility issues ?
