Hello Guys

I am using BAAN 5.0c and SP 19.
I am facing this issue that when im logging thru TELNET from UNIX...i can change teh passowrd inspite the password beiing expired.It gives me a message stating "password expired kindly change the password"

But at the same time when i log into through baan client it only gives message saying that passowrd expired,but it does not give option to change the password.

Kindly help me as i need to know if there is any setting for the TOOLS as such to avoid this issue???

Baan Tools gives you the option to change password before it is expired.
Once it is expired, you cannot get into Baan to change it. You have to do it manually on the OS. This is standard behavior.

There are options to tweak things around by changing ipc_info to invoke custom shell scripts before bshell is called. You can use the search option to find the already discussed threads.
