We have installed Baan IV c4 application server on windows 2003 64 bit version. DB clusters are also on windows 2003 server 64 bit.

We have encountered one problem while printing in multi-user mode. Only one user can print and has to wait for 1 or 2 minutes based on the settings in the registry for splWOW64Timeout variable.

We are concerned there maybe other unknown problems while using Baan on a 64 Bit Windows OS environment.

Would appreciate an input, if someone is using Baan in this configuration.

Hi Anshu,

On windows platform you need not worry about all these server level registries.

Your local printer is enough to work perfectly on windows client machine.

If not, I need more info. about your setup.

First of all , sorry for the late reply , i was on vacation and cud not reply.

the variable "splWOW64" seems to be an OS variable. not related to Baan. baan as such does not have any issues printing in a multi user environment.

If there is any specific baan related issue, please specify .
