we use Baan IV c3 version on Sun Solaris 8 OS.- and Oracle 8.1.7 DB
now; we want to buy new BAAN Server - Sun M5000.
but Sun M5000 Server not support Solaris 8 OS.
we will use Sun M5000 server with Solaris 10 os, only.

my distress is ; can I run Baan IV c3 version on solaris 10. ?

You'll need to check the release notes of the portingset on the Baan support site. Here you should be able to find out which portingset supports your version of the o.s. Be aware the various portingsets are related to the servicepacks of your Baan environment. Upgrading to a newer portingset can result in a mandatory upgrade of your Baan environment ( the need to install one or more servicepacks.).

I thought you can ... You can use the Modified Master CD Baan IVc4 incl Porting set SP03 Tools. Enjoy it:cool:
