The Baan Server my users connect to resides on the other side of a not so fast WAN. I have been looking into ways to more efficiently use the bandwidth and speed up Baan for my users. Right now we are testing use of a Windows 2003 terminal server. It seems to be working well with my test group using it. I was wondering if anyone else has this type of setup and how beefy of a server they needed to have around 50-75 concurrent connections?

Also, is there another technology that would better suite my needs?

Thanks

Hello mjenks911
I have a citrix instalation under windows 2000 enterprise server and works very well. I also use it to allow mobile devices to connect to our baan server like pdas.
Usually the servers handles 50-75 concurrent connections without problems.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
I have citrix running on Dell Poweredge, with 2 processors, 2 gb ram and 100 gb hard disk. This is due to I have various applications that I have published on the Citrix server. The product that I use is Metaframe 4.0.

Regards.
