I have to ask you for help with password aging running on AIX5.3 (Baan IVc, SP23, portingset 6.1c07.16; DB2 9.1.2).
Session ttstppwdaging doesn't display any password expiration warning/password changing form although OS account is in password expiration period. Activities to activate password aging were done according to solutions 203302 and 119781.
When user log into system in shell, the following message appears:
"[compat]: 3004-328 Your password will expire: Thu Mar 20 12:42:41 CET 2008"
When running badmin6.1 command (badmin6.1 -p -chkpwd <login>), there is also warning about password expiration :
2
2: Your password can be changed within 54D 21H 18M 1S.

After starting BW, no session appears. There is no message in {BSE}/log log files.
When running BW in debug mode, the following output is received:
B:0001764:Flow: <<-- (depth 04) <69>() (object ottdskbrowser)
B:0001765:Flow: <<-- (depth 03) <57>() (object ottdskbrowser)
B:0001766:Flow: -->> (depth 02) handle.password.aging() (object ottdllpwdaging)
B:0001767:Flow: -->> (depth 03) tc.is.thin.client() (object ottstp_stddll)
B:0001768:Flow: <<-- (depth 03) tc.is.thin.client() (object ottstp_stddll)
B:0001769:Flow: -->> (depth 03) check.password() (object ottdllpwdaging)
B:0001770:Flow: <<-- (depth 03) check.password() (object ottdllpwdaging)
B:0001771:Flow: <<-- (depth 02) handle.password.aging() (object ottdllpwdaging)

B:0001773:Flow: <<-- (depth 02) <7>() (object ottstppwdaging)
B:0001774:Flow: -->> (depth 03) <11>() (object ottdskmbrowser)
User password settings are as follows (max age is in weeks):
Days to WARN USER before password expires [55]
Password CHECK METHODS []
Password DICTIONARY FILES []
NUMBER OF PASSWORDS before reuse [5]
WEEKS before password reuse [0]
Weeks between password EXPIRATION and LOCKOUT [-1]
Password MAX. AGE [8]
Password MIN. AGE [0]
Password MIN. LENGTH [0]
Password MIN. ALPHA characters [0]
Password MIN. OTHER characters [0]
Password MAX. REPEATED characters [8]
Thanks for advance for information how to "force" ttstppwdaging session to notice OS password expiration notification.
Regards,
Aleksandra
