Dear Baan Friends

I have Informix 9.21 running on OS - win2k and
I am taking ontape -s -L 0/1/2[/B] level backups on tape only but the main issues are

1) How I can verify the data on the tape ?
2) What other backups, I can take online / offilne?
3) How I can check restore the tapes having data which is taken by the ontape command.

Pls. help me out so that I can be sure that I have informix backup that can be
resotred at any time.

Hello I'm running IDS 9 on Unix so I can't be 100% sure if what I'm saying is correct for Windows.

However we use the IDS utility archecker for checking our backups. Command line

archecker -tdsv
