Hi

I have installed a development server for Baan IV. I have followed below mentioned steps:
1. on my live server data path is g:\mysql7\data
2. on my dev server data path was e:\mssql7\data
3. I have made new baandb and with desired path to match it with live server. and then restored sql database from live's backup.
4. Now when i starts baan it gives an error -
Error 510 (Database not on) on Select
Can not continue in ottstpstdlib (mess)

Can anybody help me>?

When you restore SQL Backup of baan, you also restore the toolsdata. Unless you copy the BSE from the Live server to the Dev Server, your toolsdata wouldnt let you login to Baan. I take it that you have done a fresh installation of Baan which is why it doesnt agree with the toolsdata. If you had copied the BSE(from live to dev) then make sure your tabledef file is updated along with the license file too....
