Hi Roland,
Are you getting this error frequently or just once in a while? When you get this error, is there any message appearing on the server? The event log perhaps?
Two things you could try..One is to clear off your temp files in baan temp folder. Secondly, since i see you are using msql db, you could clear your transaction log file and run the shrink db...

Hi Roland,

It can be virus attack.

Please take backup everything, restore sort.exe/ipc_boot.exe and others from old backup and restart server.

Please be careful, after restarting, sometimes it may show blue screen and then you need to install everything.

Hope this helps.

regards,

-Suhas

Hello Roland,

sounds like a problem with the memory handling for the Baan Logic Service.
There is a value, "shared section", somewhere in the registry that has to be increased. If you have access to the Infor suppot knowledgebase, check solutions 121503 and 109404 where problem and solution are described very well.

Review this key in registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems

I think you need up the windows SharedSeccion.
