The services rexecd use 100% capacity from the CPU. Have everybody an idea what happens? It happened on an win2003 server. I must restart the BaanLogic and BaanSharedMemory and then it was looking good.

Hi,

There are many reasons for 100% CPU. And you have to look into specific areas indepth.

1. Check DB Performance and Tuning including wrong queries.
2. Hardware optimisation
3. Network issues
4. OS, DB Scheduler and BaaN Jobs
5. No. of users

Please treat this as just starting poing.

Perhaps your server needs a bit of beefing up. Please post your server config along with how big is your user base..

I have seen many performance problems with Baan systems but never involving rexec.
