I have 2 identical AIX 5.3L boxes with Baan 5 and Oracle 10g R2. Can I set up the Oracle Data Guard for the standby server to restore the program in case of prod server crashing? How? The size of database is very small now, only ~4 G. Thanks for pointing me to any reference.

There may be no problem to setup dataguard 10g for baan. We will set up a oracle dataguard configuration for our baan applic next month. What were your experiences with it ?
