normaly we use Baan IV in similar environment but on True 64 Unix!
We must create totaly clean new company and have no place on the old machine.
So we decide to copy all to other machine and begin from there the archiving!

So our problem:
We install OS, Informix, Client-SDK, make Users (informix and baan) and prepare the DB for baan use.
We can connect to the database, all working finde.

When i now start the installation i come to the point where i can select the database: i select Informix 7.3 and go to next step. Now i give information INFORMIXSERVER = inf_archiv and next. After theme following Errormessage appears:
Failed to obtain the value of 'INFORMIXSQLHOSTS' from the registry

I try to "play" with the setnet32 programm but nothing. Also i have problems with this programm when i set the Variable INFORMIXSQLHOSTS than this programm can't write into the registry.

Can every body help me please?
I am sure, it is only a smal mistake.
