I am currently using Baan 5 version with porting set 7.1d.06.158.
My current oracle version is Oracle 9i.

Now i want to migrate to oracle 10g.

So please tell me what is the minimum porting set & service pack version of Baan 5 that will allow Baan 5 to run on oracle 10g.

Please read the portingset documentation, it's documented which versions it support.

This sounds so dumb but what is the command I can execute or is there a file I can check that will tell me what porting set we are on?

e.g ntbshell.exe -V

Login to the unix server where baan is installed
run command

tssinfo6.2 -vV
or

tsscvt6.2 -vV

or
tsscomp6.2 -vV

it will show you porting set
