I expect my SQL 2k db file size to reach the hard drive limit in 2-3 months time . If I add new hard disk , can i extend the same data base to another drive or I have to completely install baandb on another drive only . I believe nothing has to be done baan side. It's plain database backup and restore job .

Any suggestions / information on this will be very much helpful .

You can create 2nd .mdf or .ndf file on new disk.
