I'm trying to install BaanIVc4 on a linux box just for a couple of test.
Reading here, I saw that is needed the Linux porting set..
Where can I find it ?
Anyone can send me this porting set ?
Thanks in advance.

Your profile says FreeBSD - FreeBSD isn't linux..
You need SuSE or Redhat.
The linux porting set will be on the installation CD for the Baan version
you're installing - you may need to order a new one from Infor.

ehm.. wrong os.. I'm sorry.
I've got a fresh Debian linux installation, with libc5.
Why only redhat or suse ?
I'll check later for the portingset in all my BaaN cds, because in this moment they're in a safe.
Thank you

Debian should work, but they only support RedHat / SuSE..
SuSE cauz it's the standard in europe (so i'm told...) and RedHat cauz
it's the standard in the US...

You can download the porting set from the website, but you need
an install CD.. just email upgrades (at) infor
and request the latest baan 4 install CD for linux

problem:
Unfortunately, I discover that we haven't a contract of assistance with infor.
Best, I have and old login support at support.baan.com, but our consultants have no more contact with infor.
So we have a freezed system (baan IV c4 sp9) that works like a charme but without assistance.
I know that this can sound a little bit strange...
So, anyone of you can send me this portingset ? .. or maybe give me an ftp location, not at infor, because we have no contracts, for downloding ?
It is possibile ?
Thank you in advance.
