We are on baan 5c, oracle 8i, UNIX. We had one live company(600) and one test company(400). Recently we are implementing multi-site finance. for that we have derived 3 more test companies(410,420,430). We are in testing this, test systems are working very slow(eg: to run one session takes 2hrs). Same transactions are happening in seconds in Production system(600). All companies are working on same server.

We did the application server maintainance by shutting down and bringing it up. Still the test system is slow ?

Can you tell how to improve system(server) performance ?
