I need some clarifiation regarding the database key.

Suppose when baan is set up on a system with CPU 600mhz, some database key will be generated. If the system has to be upgrated to 700mhz, will the same database key be used ?? I heard there is a command to retrieve the database key. Can you tell me What is the command ?

I have no idea of DBA role . Am I correct or clear in asking the question ?

Makes more sense now - Baan on Windows does not base it's license on the
CPU but On Unix it does. so if you're profile is correct and you are solaris then yes you will need to relicense the software.
