Hi
When bshell tries to start a database server and
tbase(_tp)6.1 has not been started up it will return error
510 which means: "Database not on" or "Cannot connect to
the database". In this case, the reason is that it cannot
activate a new user process, and therefore cannot connect
to the database.
Hope this help.

Hi
Just start the tp service using
# tbase6.1
the knowledge base says it error only appear if you are using triton base database, but in your message you are telling me that the db is MSQL so thats sound fishy to me.

In old versions, a 510 error would get thrown when the user could not
log into the DB for reasons like password in mssql_users didn't match
the acutal password.
That's a tough one to solve via Q and A on Baanboard, best to call support.

password in the mssql_users file does not match the users password in the DB. or something similar with permissions.
