Does anybody know if baan is able to run on a windows ce device.
We are using baan IV c3 so even a telnet client for CE will do.
(I haven't been able to find one so far).

Reason for asking is that we are looking for an alternative for our DDC implementation. It works on symbol wireless handguns running wavelink and concordia. Technically the application runs fine, our biggest problem is response times/performance.

All tips or suggestions are welcome.

What about using a telnet client (several exist for Windows CE) and then use the ASCII?
I think Baan will not release a GUI client because Windows CE is mostly used witout beeing connected to a network/modem but as a PDA.
Another solution is to install one of these new recent linux versions for PDA's, then you would have a X-client there and you could use the bx6.1 (if available).

There is a terminal server client for windowsCE, so you should be able to access the GUI client via the terminal server session.

Goto www.tucows.com and on the search fields enter 'telnet' and select 'PDA Windows CE'. You will get 5 telnet clients, 3 of them freeware.
