Is it possible to have the Baan's archival process actually move the data to a different database? We have a production System, and we are attempting to produce a data-warehouse sort of database for all the archival information. I could manually move it over with Oracle exports / Imports, but it would be nicer if Baan would redirect the moves to the archival db.

No problem!

The archiving concept of Baan works by copying (and then deleting) archive data to a different company (an archiving company). In Baan you can define for each company (actually for each single table), in which database the data is stored. The session for this is called "Assign Tables to databases" in tools.
