What are the benefits to upgrade of Oracle 9i to Oracle 8i in terms of BaaN c4.

Thnks for inputs. But reffered thread is too old (april 2002), I hope many new developments happed after that.
Comments appriciated to whom have past exprience to upgrade 8i to 9i for BaaN 4c4. Hope also released driver for Oracle 9i. Also intracting with local baan support ....

Its true now a days only 9i and above supported by Oracle.
To upgrade myself knowledge I just wanted to know benefits of Oracle 9i.

Some of the key things for me in 9i -
LMTs work (8i, not so good..)
Undo Tablespace
"Tempfile" based Temporary tablespaces work
Auto PGA management
The downsides? Bloat bloat bloat! it's Java based and slow and
they tweeked the optimizer so that you might as well set
optimizer_features_enable = 8.1.7.0 (not really, but close..)
