Dear Colleagues,

we are plannig a migration of Baan IVc2 to a separate machine in order to leave the Oracle database on one server, while having Baan application along with the database drivers, on the other one.

Current Platform: HP True64
OS: 4.0 D
BaaN version: BaaN4c
DB version: Oracle 8.1.7.1.0

I wonder whether the honourable audience would have an experience with such a portation, that can be shared.

do not expect to much higher performance with two_task,
it works, but
in my opinion you should change to ONE new and faster machine
(linux, oracle)
