Just wanted to compare notes with someone currently running the environment listed in the title of this thread.
I'm building a new Windows server for a Unix migration from HP-UX/Oracle/Baan IVc3. Does the following disk drive configuration sound appropriate?
C: drive - Windows 2000 OS - Mirrored drives 4GB
D: drive - Baan and MS-SQL 2000 applications - Mirrored drives 12 GB
E: drive - Baan transaction log file (baandb.ldf) - Mirrored drives 16GB
F: drive - Baan primary database file (baan.mdf) and MS-SQL data file folder (data\mssql\log) - Raid 5 Array 100 GB
Your input is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!
