We are planning an upgrade to Oracle 8.1.7 and need an advise on:

1) Does BAANIVC2 support Oracle 8.1.7?
2) If it does, is it necessary to re-validate baan license after upgrade?
3) Are there any Guidelines on how to upgrade available?

Baan version means nothing, its all based on porting set.

If you're already on Oracle 8 you can go to whatever version of Oracle 8 you would like. Baan actually recommends Oracle 8.1.7.4

To go from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7, will just need a patch or installation in Oracle. Baan will not even notice it!

No Validation, no configuration changes in baan needed.
