We recently upgraded our porting sets (from 7.1c.05 to 7.1d.04) and upgraded our service packs from 12 to 15. From that point our AS/400 (IBM e-server 840) CPU is hitting 95%+ in busy times and some slowness in Baan processes. We are not pretty sure that this high CPU is due to our upgrade or due to more number of users in our system (we also added extra users in Baan). Any one has the same experience? Any suggestions??

We have lots of objects in our shared memory, is this good or bad? please advise.

Thanks.

Lots of objects in shared memory can be good (never bad).
Please take a look at this perfromance guide (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=7665) and take a closer look at chapter 2 to make a call graph profile. This can help you to find the performance problem.

Hope this helps,
Dick
