We have Baan version b4c4.
As far as I know, i cannot update Baan Informix database using a custom-built windows application because it has its own indexes. But i am told there is a way of doing it using some DLLs which ships with Baan software.

I know nothing about Baan programming language but using Visual C++ compiler for software development.

Anybody who know how can i do it ? Or a sample code if you have got please?

I know its a very old thread, but still hope one can have any answer to it.
Please someone share a sample code on how to call Baan from other external applications preferably using API and not consuming licenses.
