Migration from SP8 to SP9

Source Environment: Baan IV c4 with SP8
Target Environment: Baan IV c4 with SP9
The OS and DB are both Windows2000 server and SQL Server 2000
While, what this case special are that some companies have already been existed in the target server.
What should I do?
Any advice or commendation will be appreciated.

THis is documented in the service pack documentation.

If you want to migrate, I recommend you to migrate upto service pack 16, which is released this month.
On this way you have only one effort/investment and you are nearly "up to date" and able to use a lot of new functionalities.
