our IT staff has changed. And I am new in oracle database.
I am trying to understand our licence situation. at the begining we have 70 concurrent licence for oracle. But As I understand Oracle has changed its licence policy to Named user.
What should I do now?

It depends on how you bought your Oracle licence. If you bought it by Baan, you have no problems. If you bought it by Oracle, you probably only have to contact them at the moment you change from version.

we bought orale from BaaN in 1998. but after licence agremeent
,in 2001 the version has changed from 7.3 to 8i.
in these term what shoult I do

I assume you also upgraded via Baan. In that case everything is covered. If you did upgrade by yourself, check your contract and probably you best contact Baan.
