Hello techie

have look at the documentation of Baan.
document # U7622A, Kernel Tuning Guide BaanIV/Baan ERP. This
Document was last edited at 06/04/2003.

I think the parameters are also valid for HPUX 11i.


The other one would be document # U7016I, Installation Guide.

Take a look in kernel_cfg in $BSE/lib. Or use ttiexpreinst.

That's used during the installation to check if your parameters meet the requirements.

Hi Han,

I would be carefull with the kernel check of Baan at installation time. At least in IVc4 the check always fails, because it checks for some parameters, which are not even existing in HP-Ux. Additionally it might as well pass the test, but the semaphores and shared memora are still too small.

Better stick to the documentation.
