Is BaanIVa capable of running on a 64 bit environment?

Thanks

Depends on the availability of the portingset for your particular platform. For example, the HPUx11i has status "to be decided" when it will become supported platform.

Most 64 bit platforms are able to run 32 bit binaries and thus can run 32 bits portingsets to allow you to run Baan on them... but officially supported, as far as I know not yet. Anyone else knowing more?

Baan does support most of the actual 64 bit operating systems including HP-UX 11i. But as there is no need to go to 64 bit for the Baan binaries itself, because they will never need to adress so much memory, that it cannot be done with 32 bit, they will stay 63 bit. But it is no problem to connect from a 32 bit Baan to a 64 bit database.
