Hi ,

i want to utilize an existing server for creating a test environment . But Production has Solaris and this server has SCO Unix . Will the exisiting license work by modifying the licence 6.2 so as to point to the production server .

Thanks in Advance

Hi ayoobi,

licencing would not be the problem, but there is no portingset for SCO Unix!

The only solution for an Intel Server at the moment would be to shift to W2K.

Thanks Gerhard ,

I just got the same reply from baan support. I guess we would also go for WIN2K

imho: better option would be: buy a (cheap / refurbished) Sun to be able to also test portingset update issues. I can tell the W2K is quite different when it comes to portingset issues.
